Retail Golf^® Cup

The traditional golf tournament Retail Golf® Cup is successfully behind us! We would like to thank all partners and participants because thanks to them this event was again very successful. Pleasant weather, a varied partner presentations, helpful and smiling people and organizers helped to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that carried through this unconventional business day. Both experienced players and beginning golf enthusiasts playing had the opportunity to get to know some new faces or to meet again with those already known, make friends and develop some interesting business relationships.

This year's tournament was attended by more than 100 leading representatives from nearly 80 companies operating in the retail area. Above all there were representatives from retail, distribution and logistics, manufacturers, HoReCa, suppliers, providers of software services and other companies in the area of support for the retail and FMCG.

The golf tournament, which took place 10. 6. 2016 in the golf course Golf Park Plzeň, provided us with good facilities, nice atmosphere and especially perfectly prepared and attractive championship course.

Like every year the organizers are constantly trying to improve and enrich the program for both experienced players and beginning golf enthusiasts. Like last year there were GolfCarts for every flight which allowed comfortable movement of players on the court and also provided more space for communication. Hot New was a mobile Catering Cart allowing the players to have some refreshment during the tournament. Everybody had a chance to create an unforgettable memory for the tournament in the interactive Photo Booth. Thai massage and a test drive of the luxury SUVs have been a nice icing of the cake. All the participants of the parallel program enjoyed the visit of the nearby Pilsner Urquell Brewery Museum and tasted the local beer specialities. During the day they could try a Golf Academy finished by the Putting contests. Highlight of this year was an adrenaline slalom race GolfCart Racing.

Exkluzivně letos jste měli jedinečnou šanci vyhrát 3x V.I.P. hráčský vstup v hodnotě 22.470,- Kč. Soutěžilo se celkem ve třech kolech a stačilo správně a včas odpovědět na jednoduchou soutěžní otázku. Výherci jednotlivých kol se stali:

Participants of the parallel program can look forward to a test drive with the new Hyundai Tucson or the long-awaited exclusive model Ford Edge Sport equipped with all the latest features including an exceptional active noise reduction system, which increases driving comfort and allows easier conversation or listening to music.

• Prizes: The first three places in each of the three HCP categories, inserted the contests (Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive for man and woman separately), Overall winner man and Overall winner woman will receive: golf trophies and other prizes from the tournament partners.
• Conditions: The tournament is played under the Rules of Golf, according to the Competition Rules of the Czech Golf Federation and local rules of the court.
• Teeing ground: Separate for women and men.
• Food: Breakfast before the game, snack to a bag, refreshments and drinks during the whole day from partners and a dinner after the tournament.

How to get there?

• From Prague: From the motorway D5/E50 (Praha – Plzeň / Plzeň – Praha) take Exit 67, direction Ejpovice. Then continue to Plzeň and follow the road no. 26. Just before Plzeň turn right on Chrást, road no. 180. Continue through Kyšice to Dýšina and simply follow the signs saying „Golf Park Plzeň".

• Folklore lovers can look forward to the 20th International Folklore Festival CIOFF® Plzeň which takes place from June 8 to 12. You can see the folk costume parade, traditional Czech fair, demonstrations of folk handicrafts and folk gastronomy, "Folklore afternoon" in Plzeň Zoo and many other accompanying activities.

• If you like time traveling back to the days of a knights' fights you should visit the festival Historic Weekend or Plzeň Ghosts and bustle (June 11 to 12). You can enjoy the theatrical and musical performances, a historical market, swordsmen and interactive children's scene with historical carousel. Speciality of this year is 10m puppet of Charles IV.
